Getting started

Silico puts a team of AI agents to work on your tasks. You describe what you want in plain language; an orchestrator breaks the job into pieces, hands each piece to a specialist sub-agent running the best model for that step, and gives you back the finished work — plus an itemized receipt of what it cost.

This page gets you from sign-up to your first finished deliverable.

1. Create your account

Click Get started on the homepage. You can sign up with:

  • Email + password, or
  • Continue with Google

After signing up with email, check your inbox to verify your address.

There's no free tier — Silico runs real compute and shows you the real cost. The front door is the $5 Pilot: 500 credits that never expire, with full access to every model and feature. If you upgrade to a monthly plan within 14 days, your $5 applies to the first month. (See Plans & credits.)

2. Describe your first task

You'll land in the chat with the prompt "What would you like to make?" and a few example cards you can click to pre-fill. Or just type into the box at the bottom ("Ask the agent…") and press Enter.

Good first tasks:

  • "Research the top 5 project-management tools for small teams and put the comparison in a table with sources."
  • "Build me a one-page pitch deck for a dog-walking app."
  • "Take this CSV and tell me the three biggest trends." (attach a file with the paperclip)
  • "Generate an image of a minimalist logo for a coffee brand called Ember."

You can attach files with the paperclip (up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB per message) — drag-and-drop and paste-image work too.

3. Watch it work

As the agent runs you'll see:

  • A Plan — a checklist of the steps it's going to take, ticking off as it goes.
  • Sub-agents — cards (in the right-hand panel) for each specialist working a piece of the task, showing which AI model each one is using.
  • Results — finished files appear right in the conversation as cards you can preview, download, and share.
  • A receipt — under each reply, a small line shows the real compute cost, what you were charged, and your remaining balance.

You can hit the Stop button any time to interrupt a run.

4. Keep the conversation going

Everything lives in a thread. Reply to refine the result, ask a follow-up, or point the agent at the files it already produced — it keeps its workspace between messages. Start a fresh line of work with New chat in the left sidebar; your past threads are listed there to rename or delete.
